  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
  • We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
  • Details of transactions you carry out through the site and of the fulfilment of your orders.

How will we use your data?

  • We use your information to deliver our services, such as processing details given to raise quotation requests or searching for terms, in order to provide you quotes or return results.
  • We also use your information to ensure our services are working as intended, such as tracking outages or troubleshooting issues that you report to us. And we use your information to make improvements to our services. For example, understanding why some quote requests receive more responses than others.
  • We use the information we collect in existing services to help us develop new ones. For example, identifying buying patterns allowed us to launch Marketplace Intelligence Reports as an additional service to clients.
  • We use data for analytics and measurement to understand how our services are used. For example, we analyse data about your visits to our sites to do things such as optimise product design.
  • We use information we collect, such as your email address, to interact with you directly. For example, we may send you a notification of a quote request to which you’ve been invited, and we may let you know about upcoming changes or improvements to our services.
