Kettles

Kettles are a smaller kitchen appliance that consists of a pot that's typically made of metal with a handle and a lid, that is specialised for the task of boiling water. Kettles can be either placed on a hob or stove to boil or in the case of electric kettles the water is heated via a heating element. Kettles are most commonly made from stainless steel which is lightweight, durable and easy to clean, but they can also be made from other materials such as copper or ceramic. Catering kettles hold larger capacities of liquids than regular domestic kettles, and higher quality heating elements provide much-needed speed of heating in higher demand settings. Kettles can be found in most catering establishments, including restaurants, bars, cafes and hotels, and also in most workplaces too.
