Barbeque is a form of cooking, as well as equipment used to cook. Whilst barbequing is usually compared to grilling, it is actually done over a lower, more indirect heat and is flavoured by a process of smoking. Barbeques are used domestically outside, particularly during the summer, but they are also available as inside equipment, particularly in restaurants. Types of barbeques include charcoal barbeques, outdoors ovens, flat bed barbeques, folding barbeques, hooded barbeques, commercial gas barbeques and pan burners. Barbeques are used domestically as well as by commercial kitchens and food vans whose menu relies on capturing the unique Smokey flavour.
