Microwave Ovens

A microwave oven (often just called a microwave) heats food through microwave radiation. It is method of fast cooking, particularly foods of high water content (like soups) which makes it popular in the catering industry for functions like cooking, re-heating and defrosting. There are three types of microwave ovens available which are; solo microwave ovens, grill microwave ovens and convection microwave ovens. These can be stand-alone or built-in depending on the kitchen design and the function of the microwave. Microwave ovens are used in restaurants, concession stands, fast food outlets, and catering operations. They also serve a massive role in the modern domestic kitchen.
