Toasters

A toaster is an electrical appliance that browns sliced bread (or bread products) through radiant heat, which converts it to toast. The most common type of toaster is a pop-up toaster, which has a manual setting that determines when the toast is done and ‘pops up’. These toasters usually come with the possibility to toast two, four, six, eight or ten slices. Conveyor toasters are used mainly in a commercial kitchen since they toast bread on a conveyor belt and have the potential to host hundreds of slices of bread in an hour. Finally, toaster ovens look more like an oven than a toaster but they have the potential to toast bread (as well as bake it). Toasters are used in commercial kitchens in restaurants, hotels and cafes.
