Food Processors

A food processor is a common kitchen appliance that takes the manual labour out of repetitive food preparation tasks. Usually food processors refer to electric-motor-driven appliances that can chop, slice, shred, grate and mince, grind or process food in some way. Usually the processing is done through blades or cutting discs. Types of food processors include blenders, food choppers, mandolines, cheese graters, coffee grinders, vegetable and meat grinders and hand-operated ricers. Food processors are used in busy kitchens to reduce manual labour, save time and create unity amongst dishes – they are commonly used in restaurants, canteens, cafes, delicatessens, sandwich bars, and smoothie bars.
