CRT Monitors

Cathode Ray Tube Monitors or CRT monitors use a vacuum tube which contains an electron gun and a phosphorescent screen which is used for displaying images. Cathode ray tube monitors are among the oldest forms of displays and have been in continuous use for almost a century. CRT monitors have dominated the display screens industry for decades and are still used for a wide range of purposes. Although, in most parts of the developed world CRT monitors have been replaced by LCD and LED monitors. Developing countries remain the major market for CRT monitors. Main reason for the decline of CRT monitors is the better quality of display offered by LCD panels and space required by CRT monitors.
