LCD Displays

LCD stand for liquid crystal display and LCD displays have mostly replaced other electronic display technologies over the last few years. Today, LCD displays can be found in televisions, computers, laptops, instrument panels, indoor and outdoor signage, smartphones and numerous other digital devices which require a display for showing images. Unlike other display technologies, liquid crystals do not emit light, instead they have light modulating properties which are used for generating an image on the screen. LCD displays offer a much better quality of image and are lightweight, small sized and occupy less space as compared to CRT monitors. Due to these advantages, LCD displays now account for the largest market share of display monitors and can be found in most offices, workplaces, homes etc.
