Network Cables

Network cables are widely used for connecting one device to another device on a network or for connecting two or more computers, laptops to a shared printer or scanner. Most offices use some sort of internal Local access network which often allows all the computers to print documents via a shared printer which is similarly connected to the LAN network. Network cables are used for connecting several devices and can also be used for connecting computers to a network switch or router. Depending on the network’s physical layer and topology several types of network cables such as coaxial cable, optical fibre cable, and twisted pair cables are used.
