Screens or monitors as they are popularly known are considered as an essential part of a computer and can be found in all types of computers. In the early days of computers, mostly cathode ray tube monitors which used to be bulky and occupied lots of space were used. In recent years, LCD screens and computer monitors have become the preferred choice of computer users. Computer screens are available in various sizes ranging from 12-13 inches to 21 inches or more and the resolution of a screen can also vary greatly. In the last few years HD, Full HD and 4k screens have gained popularity as these display higher resolution images.
