Graphics Cards

Graphic cards can be found in most computer and laptops nowadays and they are essential for graphic intensive applications such as 3d or 2d design software, games etc. Graphic cards are also known as video cards, display card or display adapters and often come with their own integrated memory which can range anywhere from 512 MB to 12 GB. Newer computers, particularly the ones designed for virtual reality applications cannot function without a graphic card as computer memory is often not enough for dealing with high level graphic applications mentioned above. Several CPU manufacturers provide integrated graphic cards with their CPUs but these are often not advanced enough and thus most people prefer dedicated or discrete graphic cards.
