Bulbs

Projector bulb or projector lamp as it is popularly known is one of the most fundamental component of any projector and almost no projector can work if the bulb malfunctions. A projector bulb is an ultra-high pressure mercury vapor ARC lamp. Electrical current is send across this ARC pressurised gap which lights the mercury vapor and results in an extremely bright light which is then reflected on an LCD screen. LCD screens, in turn, produce the images which we see on a projector LCD screen. Most projectors can’t work if there is an issue with the bulb and in most cases replacing or changing the projector bulb or lamp is not a difficult task.
