Projection Screens

Projectors require a screen for projecting their light which is then converted into images. Although earlier projector screens were plain pieces of white paper or plastic, with the advancements in display technology LCD screens have largely replaced these types of screens. LCD screens offer a crystal-clear quality of images and the fall in their prices during the last few years have made them affordable for masses. In addition to LCD other types of screens are also used with projectors as even now many people don’t use LCD screens. Projection screens can be rigid, foldable, wall mounted or tripod based. Electrical projection screens are among the most commonly used ones as they use an electric motor for moving the screen up and down and can be controlled by a remote control.
