Floorboards

Floorboards are wooden panels which are used in domestic and commercial buildings to create a safe flooring structure. Floorboards can be exposed and directly walked on, or covered with a wide range of floor coverings including carpets, rugs and vinyls. Types of floorboards include timber floorboards, laminate floorboards, and engineered floorboards. In each case, the purpose of the floorboards is important because, when exposed, the finish must be much excellent with higher quality materials. Floorboards are used in domestic properties including retail premises, restaurants, office, and banks. They also feature in domestic homes either directly as a floor surface, or under a floor covering.
