Other common names for these retail displays include dummies, dummy, dress form and manikin. Mannequin, busts and body forms are used in clothing retail environments to display product instore and in windows. They are also used by dressmakers, tailors, technicians and clothing manufacturers to create clothing which accurately fits. They are also often used to photograph product for estores instead of being worn by a model.
