External Staircases

External Staircases need to be tougher and more durable than internal staircases as they are often used in applications where there is a heavy amount of footfall and a need to be able to withstand adverse weather conditions for many years. External staircases are most often made from tough steel, concrete or hardwood that can withstand moisture and high footfall. Most applications will require custom made designs in either straight, curved or spiral shape with additional features such as non-slip steel treads for safety and powder coating for durability. They can be found in a range of applications including at the entrances to buildings and also when access to higher floors is needed in a fire escape for example. The range of materials available for construction allows for the production of not only simple industrial designs for schools or workplaces but also for the highly decorative design specifications of domestic properties.
