Internal Staircases

Internal staircases are subject to fewer extremes in temperature and wear and tear from the elements, meaning there’s a wider choice of materials available for use during their construction and the decorative and design possibilities are vast. They are often a key consideration when first designing a modern domestic project. A wide variety of materials is used in the construction of internal staircases including several types of wood such as elm, beech and oak; a variety of metals including stainless steel and wrought iron; and a selection bespoke glass panels. Bespoke design services are available to suit individual projects as well as a choice of ready-made components. Staircases are used internally in most buildings, they can be designed for a range of budgets using heavy-duty materials to withstand heavy footfall in public buildings or utilising more delicate but durable materials to add finishing touches to domestic projects such as homes.
