Animal Bedding

Animal bedding is a material, which is usually organic, that is used by animals as bedding. It offers the benefit of supporting animal’s bodies when resting by reducing pressure on the skin, preventing heat loss and also stops the spread of waste contamination. Animal’s which use bedding include pets (like rabbits), poultry, cattle, pigs, sheep and horses. Different types of animals prefer different types of animal beddings, but most common types include hemp, straw, leaves, wood shavings, pellets, sawdust, hay and newspaper. Animal bedding is used in farms, stables, equestrian properties, zoos and various other animal holdings. It is also used domestically to provide bedding for pets.
