Pneumatic Fixtures

A fixture is a work-holding or support device used in the manufacturing industry. For high-volume automated processes, milling fixtures usually involve pneumatic clamps and fixtures. Pneumatic clamps lend themselves well to small test points, with extremely tight tolerances or when high volume applications are required. Pneumatic fixtures support a wide variety of requirements tailored for those applications that call for pneumatic control of the test contact activation. Pneumatic fixtures provide full capabilities for test point contacting both topside and backside of the modules to be tested. These test points can be pads designed specifically for test access as well as connectors. Industries that use pneumatic fixtures include aerospace to mobile hydraulics, biomedical devices, and civil engineering.
