Spring Testing Systems

Spring testing equipment encompasses components that sit on the desk, to automatic testers that can test upwards of 50,000 lbs. Nowadays many products rely heavily on springs, including automotive, so it’s important that springs are significantly for compression, extension, torsion, deflection, and fatigue. For a spring to do the role it was designed for consistently, it has to stay within acceptable tolerances, over extended time and even over exerted required force. Only rigorous spring testing ensures a high level of quality, but since springs are so varied in design and function, so are the different means of testing. Common spring testing equipment includes machines for testing compression springs, extension springs, torsion springs, high rate springs, and constant force springs. Industries which use spring testing equipment include automotive, railway, spring, wiring forming, electronics, medical, aerospace, and plastics.
