Digital Durometers

Durometer is one of several measures of the hardness of a plastic, silicones, foams or rubber (but can also be applied to leather, gel or wax) – ‘durometer’ is used to refer to measurement and also measuring tools and instrument themselves. The most basic test involves applying some kind of force in a consistent manner, this means without any shock, and then measuring the hardness (through the depth of the indentation). The feature benefits of a digital durometer include LCD displays with an immediate response time, and a max holding setting. Durometers are used commonly used in fields of research and development, laboratory, quality, and production.
