Modular Fixtures

Modular fixtures are versatile and designed to be interchangeable during different industrial processes and applications. Modular fixes provide quick changeover of applications, without forgoing accuracy when holding a piece firmly in place. A modular fixture is totally different from a dedicated fixture because it’s compromised of many interchange components that allow flexibility when designing custom fixtures from application to the next. Because of the modular fixture’s flexibility, set up costs are reduced, as is time. Common types of modular fixtures include plates, clamps and CMM inspection fittings. Modular fixtures are commonly used in fields of industries including are aerospace, metrology, automotive, electronics, industrial or medical applications.
