Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes

Oscilloscopes test instrument which allows for the monitoring and observing of various signal voltages. A mixed signal oscilloscope (also known as MSO) has 2 or 4 analogue channels and a large number of digital channels (up to 16). They work by providing the user with the ability to time-correlate both digital and analogue channels which offer an advantage over separate oscilloscope and logic analysers. Typical mixed signal oscilloscopes are used to debug hybrid analogue and digital circuits such as embedded systems, ADCs, control systems DACs and digital-to-analogue convertors. Mixed signal oscilloscopes are used in the maintenance of electronic equipment and also in laboratory work. They are also used in the fields of automotive, medicine, sciences, telecommunications, and engineering.
