Dial Snap Gauges

A snap gauge is a form of Go-No gauge equipment which is inspection tool used to check a workpiece against its desired tolerances. The names comes from the very nature of the test which involves the workpiece having to pass one test (Go) and fail the other (No Go). A snap gauge either temporarily or permanently has measurement markings which are then paired with a product or component to understand if it passes (Go) or fails (No Go) against the tolerances. Types include adjustable snap gauge, with a dial indictor or an electronic digital indicator. Snap gauges are used in the fields of are used in the fields of mechanical engineering, metalworking, forestry, woodworking, science and medicine.
