Micrometer Heads

A micrometer is a gauge which measures small distances or thicknesses between two faces. Micrometer heads can be seen as the drill-bits that connect to the micrometer via an adapter. Micrometer heads come in different sizes depending on requirements and what is being measurement. Common sizes include 6.5mm, 13mm, 25mm, and 50mm. The wide range of non-digital micrometer types includes standard, miniature, heavy duty, fine feed and non-rotating-spindle heads. Digital micrometers and digital microheads are also available, where readings can be exported to a computer. Micrometer heads are often used by engineers, mechanical engineers, electricians and those in construction and building.
