Protractors

A protractor is a measuring tool, often made of glass, metal or plastic that measures the size of angles. Standard protractors measure in degrees while radian-scale protractors measure angles in radians. Often a protractor is just a half disk, with indicators to measure angles. However, with a bevel protractor, you have one or two arms that can be moved to measure and create angles from 0° to 360° by moving arms left or right. Protractors are still commonly used in schools and colleagues, but also provide the engineering, design, architectural, toolmaking, and metrology industry with an essential tool for measuring and defining angles.
