Cryogenic Equipment

Cryogenic equipment is specifically created to generate and operate at low temperatures, specifically equipment that holds and assists in the transport of cooled liquids like oxygen, argon, nitrogen and liquid helium in a way that does not put worker or machinery at risk. Common cryogenic applications include pressure vessels, cold traps, containers, piping and purifiers. The most used of all cryogenic equipment is a specialised container known widely as a Dewar flask (a holding chamber which prevents the transmission of heat). The most common uses cryogenic equipment includes cooling and freezing, enhancing chemical reactions, biomedical, medical, metal processing and chemical storage.
