Hydrogen

Hydrogen is a chemical element, and is the most abundant chemical element in the universe. Hydrogen is a colourless, odourless, tasteless, non-toxic, non-metallic, highly combustible diatomic gas. Hydrogen gas is highly flammable, and the explosive reactions may be triggered by spark, heat, or sunlight. Hydrogen is used a coolant (in power stations, as an energy carrier (it is not an energy source), in the semiconductor industry and in the production of ammonia. Hydrogen is used near the site of its production site, the two largest uses being fossil fuel processing (like hydrocracking) and ammonia production, mostly for the fertiliser market.
