Flow Control Valves

Flow control valves, often known as Automatic Control Valves, regulate pressure and flows of fluid. They work by responding to signals generated by devices like temperature gauges and flow meters. They work by allowing flow in one direction and preventing a back flow (also known as a reverse flow). Types of flow control valves include flow control valves, pressure reducing valves, wafer check valve, ball valve, butterfly valve, back-pressure sustaining valves, globe valve, Hastelloy ball valve, Globe valve, Inconel valve, relief valves and altitude valves. Flow control valves are used in process plants and in the pneumatics and hydraulics.

  1. Butterfly Valves
    - 4 Suppliers 13 Products

Butterfly valves are a type of valve that works to regulate and isolate the flow of liquids. They work with a closing mechanism which is a disk that rotates. In the chemical, pharmaceutical and food industry butterfly valves are used to interrupt product flow (such as gas, solids and liquids).

  2. Disc Valves
    - 0 Suppliers 0 Products

A disc valve is a device which regulates, controls or directs the flow of fluids (such as liquids, gases, solids and slurries). They work by opening, obstructing or closing passageways and are also used in many industries including chemical, minerals, plastics, pharmaceuticals and food and dairy applications as well as many more gravity-flow applications.

  3. Iris Valves
    - 0 Suppliers 0 Products

Iris valves are designed to handle dry bulk solids that are discharged by gravity. This includes free-flowing materials that come from bulk bags, bins, chutes and hoppers. Irish valves are used in many industries including chemical, minerals, plastics, pharmaceuticals and food and dairy applications as well as many more gravity-flow applications.

  4. Slide Valves

Slide valves are rectilinear valves used to control the entry of steam into the cylinder of an engine and the emission of exhaust from the steam engine. Types of slide valves include D slide valve, long D slide valve, knife gate and slide gate. Valves typically found on the FCCU are the spent catalysts valve, catalyst slide valve, catalyst slide valve and the cooled catalysts slide valve.
