Iris Valves

Iris valves are designed to handle dry bulk solids that are discharged through gravity. This includes free-flowing materials that comes from bulk bags, bins, chutes and hoppers. Iris valves are manually or pneumatically operated. Iris valves are available with different size valve openings generally ranging from 4 to 15 inches. They have various design features depending on the application include twist lock handles for hygiene, trigger handles for easy opening and double sleeves for fine or dusty materials. Iris valves are used in many industries including chemical, minerals, plastics, pharmaceuticals and food and dairy applications as well as many more gravity-flow applications.
