Linear Roller Slides

Linear roller slides, sometimes also referred to as linear motion slides, or motion slides and roller slides, are high precision linear guide units. They are capable of excellent straight line accuracy and reducing friction coefficients greatly in applications. Linear roller slides incorporate a linear rolling motion that saves energy and offers excellent rigidity. Various configurations are available, but all linear roller slides are designed specifically to prevent backlash. Aluminium is often used in the construction of the linear roller slide carriage and base, as it is lightweight but enables a high load capacity. Holes are usually built-in to the design to make installation simple and to enable easier mounting. Linear roller slides are extremely versatile and with so many precision grades on offer as well as a choice of materials, for example with high corrosion resistance, linear roller slides are used in a wide range of machinery applications.
