Hex Bolts
Hex bolts are bolts which have a hexagonal head and threads for use with a tapered hole or nut, they are commonly accompanied with a nut. Hex bolts can be abbreviated to HHMB or HXBT and common types of hex bolts include stainless steel hex bolts, zinc plated hex bolts and chrome plated hex bolts. One secondary type of hex bolts is a JIS hex bolt which has a smaller hexagonal head which meets older JIS specifications. Hex bolts are used in a wide range of applications including the fastening of various materials including steel and wood. They are used in bridges, docks, buildings and motorway structures.
