Locking Pins

A locking pin comprises of a pin body which has a ring (or similar) attached that works as a locking mechanism. Locking pins have no threads, meaning they offer a quick release function as and when they are needed. Locking pins are also known as quick release pins, single action pins, tab lock pins and clevis pins. Locking pins are commonly used in products that need complete dis-assembly for cleaning – like food machinery. They are also commonly used in vehicles (particularly military vehicles), helicopters and aircraft. They are also used in the bodywork on racing cars and in high-performance yachts.
