Push Pins

A push pin is a short pin (or nail) with a plastic (or wood or metal) head. They are used to secure items to a wall or a board by pushing, without the assistance of tools. While the standard design involves a long cylindrical head, other designs are available (including novelty designs likes stars and hearts). The advantage, however, of the long cylindrical head is that they can be removed easily when required. Push pins are also known as thumb-tacks, thumbtacks and drawing pins. Push pins are used in both domestic and commercial premises to secure items to a wall or board.
