Thermometers
A thermometer is a device that measures temperature. In a medical application, thermometers are used to measure body temperate for the purpose of determining a fever and diagnosis of illness or disease. Temperature can be determined through a measurement in the ear, rectum, mouth, underarm and even non-invasively from the forehead. Types of thermometers include ear thermometers, non-invasive forehead thermometers, forehead thermometer, underarm thermometer, oral thermometers and oral thermometers. Thermometers are used by those in the medical field to gauge body temperature, they are widely used by doctors and nurses. Thermometers are also used domestically in the identification of a fever.
