Patient Steps

Patient steps are portable steps that are used by patients to gain access to different types of medical equipment. For example, patient steps might be placed to allow patients to step up to CT machines or MRIs or other machines that require a fixed position and cannot be adjusted. They are also commonly used in bathrooms to allow patients easy access into baths when movement might be a problem due to illness or post-operative recovery. Types of patient steps include class couch step, double couch steps, and bath steps. Patient steps are widely used in hospitals, care homes, and clinics. They are also commonly used domestically.
