Developers

Developer units are used in almost all types of laser printers and their working is closely intertwined with other parts of a laser printer such as imaging unit, fuser kits and toner cartridges. Developer units are used for drawing the dry toner powder through the printing process with the goal of affixing it to the paper. Laser printers use dry powder instead of liquid ink which can be easily glued to paper. Developer units several small beads for attracting toner powder which is positively charged as against the negative charge of developer unit beads. This toner powder is then passed on to the drum unit using the same principle of electric charges and used to form image on a paper.
