Transfer Belts & Kits

Colour laser printing is more complex than monochrome printing as it requires use of several colours. Many colour laser printers use a transfer belt for maintaining the high quality of print and ensuring that all toner particles are registered accurately. This ensures the high quality of print and allows colour to be applied equally on a paper. Transfer belts also collect any excess toner and move it to the waste basket in a printer as uncollected toner particles will affect the print quality of a printer. Like other moveable parts in a laser printer, transfer belts also need to be cleaned and replaced on a regular basis. Transfer kits basically contain many items important for the transfer process and are often confused with maintenance kits. Most transfer kits normally contain transfer drum, belt, charger, cleaning roller, and a charcoal filter as these constitute the transfer unit in a laser printer.
