Fixed Focal Length Lenses

Fixed focal length lenses (also known FFL) are found on different types of cameras and have a focal length that cannot be adjusted. This means that the camera does not have an option to zoom in or zoom out on any given subject since they only have one focal length and few moving parts. They are generally referred to as having a singular angular field of view. Fixed focal lengths lenses are also known as prime lenses and there are a wide range of FFLs including wide-angle lenses, telephoto lenses and fixed focal length lenses. Fixed focal length lenses are commonly used in robotics, including in inspections, and measuring.
