Relay Lenses

Relay lenses are a lens type that inverts an image through an extendable optical tube which works to extend the length of the imaging system. The most common types of relay lenses are found in endoscopes, microscopes, rifle eyes and periscopes. In all cases, the image is projected by an optical relay which transmits the image down a tube. Common types of relay lenses include Mounted Achromatic Relay Lens Pairs, fixed focal length assemblies, high-resolution relay lenses, C-Mount Achromatic Pairs and Specific Microscope Video Relay Lenses. Relay lenses are used in a range of industries including life sciences, microscopy, military and defense, inspection and medical applications.
