Magnetic Sensors

Magnetic sensors, sometimes referred to as magnetic field sensors, are devices that are used to detect positions without requiring contact or causing any wear and tear, in control technology. Magnetic sensors come in very small designs but have a very long range. A real strength of magnetic sensors is that their magnetic fields can penetrate all non-magnetisable materials, making them extremely versatile. Magnetic sensors come in various designs. The orientation of the magnetic field can be adapted so that the sensor can be damped from a side position, or from the front. Magnetic sensors typically come in either cylindrical or rectangular design, making them appropriate for demanding applications. They are used in many industries, including the food industry, and they have a high mechanical stability to withstand vibration and shock if required.
