Pressure Sensors and Transducers
There are a wide variety of pressure sensors and transducers available. Common types include electronic pressure and vacuum sensors, and these can be adapted for use in various industrial applications. Usually, pressure sensors and transducers feature two measuring cells. One is ceramic and capacitive, and the other is of stainless steel construction and has strain gauges attached. Although pressure sensors and transducers come in various configurations, they share many characteristics. They do not require moving parts such as pistons and springs. This makes them capable of resisting extreme shock and vibration. Robust housing ensures that pressure sensors and transducers are capable of operating with very little maintenance required. Because of their excellent durability, and the fact that they are highly precise and accurate, pressure sensors and transducers are used in an extensive range of applications. Examples include those that have very high gas pressures and refrigerating technology applications.
