Mobile phones

Mobile Phones are portable telephones that can make and receive phone calls over a frequency, as long as they are connected to a telephone service area. The very first mobile phone came to market in 1973, but they have come a long way since then, becoming almost everyone’s most essential possession. In 2016, the top mobile phone producers were Samsung, Apple and Huawei, all of whom produce a SMART phone. A SMART phone is a phone which performs typical computer functions like a mobile phone that performs many of the functions of a computer, usually having touchscreen interface, Internet access, and an operating system capable of running apps. Network providers offer users mobile phones via different packages. The typical ‘pay as you go’ involves ‘topping up’ the phone with credit, which you spend on calls and services. Along with this, network providers offer contracts which are billable each month and which can be tailored made to better suit your needs depending on how much you call per month and how much data you consume. All in all, this means that mobile phones can be specifically tailored for both corporate and personal use.
