Analogue switches

An analogue switch is designed to pass (or also isolate) analogue signals and support analogue applications such as audio and video data transmission. Often implemented using a "transmission gate," an analogue switch performs a function much the same as a relay – like turning an audio signal off and on, or sending a signal to a headphone amplifier. Analogue switches are available in one-way side breaks, two-way side breaks and three-way side breaks in various voltages. The higher the voltage, the stronger the performance and robustness. Analogue switches are used in lots of industries including industrial, instrumentation, medical, consumer, communications, and automotive systems.
