Transmission lines

In the communications and electronic engineering world, a transmission line is a specialised cable (or structure) created to carry the alternating current of the radio frequency. Simply, transmission lines are just to connect a receiver or a transmitter to an antenna. In fact, if you plug any electric device into the wall outlet, the wires that connect the wall outlet to the device as called transmission lines. Types of transmission modes are coaxial cable, stripline, balance two wire, micro strip, waveguide and microstrip. All industries depend on transmission lines, from electrical companies to telecommunications – every home and business around the world depend heavily transmission lines, not just for communication but for power.
