Floodlights

Floodlights are artificial lights which are used outside to provide illumination at sporting events or live performances, particularly during low-light conditions (like during the night and outside of daylight hours). They work by providing high-intensity, broad-beamed artificial light. Many event arenas and stadiums have fixed, permanent floodlights which can be used during any occasion. Such premises also have special gantries for maintenance and bulb changing. However, other locations do not have permanent lighting solutions so temporary and portable floodlights can be used. Floodlights are used in outdoor playing fields, sporting stadiums, concerts, plays and other entertainment events that require lighting solutions.
