Perimeter Fencing

Perimeter fencing is a type of crime prevention fencing that surrounds a perimeter to prevent access. It is generally high to prevent scaling and climbing, but also supported with additional functions that make it difficult for intruders to gain access like electronic pulse and CCTV. Type of perimeter fencing can include spikes and barbed wire to prevent any climbing. Common types include high-security palisade, high-security welded mesh panel, chain link, strained wire fencing, buried fencing, and razor wire coils. Perimeter fencing can be permanent but temporary solutions are also available for entertainment events. Perimeter fencing is used as method of security in sensitive buildings like airports, military buildings, sporting events, festivals and concerts.
