Jukeboxes
Jukeboxes are automated music-playing devices that can play the user’s selected song from a pre-defined list. Traditional jukeboxes are coin-operated music playing devices that are operated by entering a specific combination. Today, the classic jukebox has been superseded by digital jukeboxes which include TouchTunes, RockBot, PlayMySong, Songwaiter and Secret DJ. Further developments in Jukebox technology also include apps, including PonoMusic, PlayMySong and OutLoud. When it comes to traditional Jukeboxes, the most notable models include 1946 Wurlitzer Model 1015, 1967 Rock-Ola 434 Concerto, 1952 Seeburg M100C and 1947 Rock-Ola 1422. Jukeboxes are commonly found in cafes, bars, restaurants and can be hired out for events.
