Soft Shell Jackets

Soft shell jackets are designed to be used outdoor during mild weather and offer a higher level of protection against cold than fleece jackets. During late autumn or early winter, soft shell jackets can be used without any other jacket, although during winter or severe weather conditions they must be used along with a hard-shell jacket such as a waterproof jacket. Most softshell jackets come with durable water resistance coating and thus are shower proof, although they are not considered fully water resistant. Soft shell jackets use multiple layer mechanism which is also common across various thermal wears for trapping the air between their layers. Most are made up of several natural or synthetic fibres and are best for outdoor exercise and aerobics.
