Metal Free Safety Shoes and Boots

Traditionally steel was primarily used for the protective reinforcement in safety shoes and boots. But as expected, these safety shoes and boots tended to be much heavier than normal shoes and boots. With the advancements in technology, nowadays various types of materials are used for making safety shoes and boots. Metal free safety shoes and boots use composite materials such as plastic, thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) etc. Metal free safety shoes and boots provide a similar level of protection without the heavy weight associated with metal safety footwear.
